Consuming
You do not have all the answers.
Harsh, right? But sometimes, we dadpreneurs need to step down from our towers, even if our kids keep putting us up there. We can only be masters of our niche if we are also ardent students.
Consuming content from other industry leaders, educators, and news sources will help you become the topic expert your customers need.
You don’t have to spend hours each day consuming content, but don’t skip this step.
I recommend finding
experts,
a community
news sources
for your niche.
Find ten experts on your customer’s preferred social media platform, and check their content daily. Bookmark them in your internet browser, preferably in a dedicated folder. The same goes for communities. Locate at least three active communities and participate. Lastly, select a few niche-specific news outlets or newsletters and read their stories.
Between these three things—experts, communities, and news—you’ll become and stay a master of your niche.
